Farid Najmabadi (Systems Engineer / Project Manager)

Farid is a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer who has had extensive experience in aircraft production, design and improvement.  As the Vice President of H. F. Dorna (www.hfdorna.com), the first producer of light aircraft in Iran, Farid was in charge of their Blue Bird Aircraft Production and its improvement in accordance with customer feedback.  He managed all aspects of production from acquiring material and parts, approving workshop working plan and schedule, overseeing quality assurance and outside contracting, overall time schedules and meeting all obligations.

Before becoming the Vice President, Farid was the Chief Engineer and Head of Design at H. F. Dorna. In this capacity he was awarded the prestigious "Type Certificate" for Blue Bird Aircraft.  This was achieved with designing, computations and analysis, making prototypes, structural, system and flight testing and thorough documentation of all steps.

Farid was also awarded the "Design Organization Approval" from Civil Aviation Organization for setting up organizational charts, outline job descriptions and work flow of every position in the H. F. Dorna.

Farid has also worked in various design departments at H. F. Dorna including: Structural Design, performing stress analysis by conventional methods as well as Finite Element (NISA), Composite Design, and Mechanical Design.  He has experience in aircraft structures and systems including control system, hydraulics and landing gears.

As the Development Engineer / Project Manager at ISD, Farid is in charge of production and project design. His responsibilities include: Defining Customer's needs and constrains, project break down and management, testing and trouble shooting, ongoing project development, web site design and development, web based marketing and Search Engine Optimization.

Farid holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran and lives in Rockville, MD with his wife and children.

Theo Nanayakkara (Manager - Operations)

Theo is a management professional with almost two decades of experience at Prudential Insurance Company, First American Bank of VA, and Freddie Mac. He is a customer focused performer with a proven track record in cultivating and building loyal professional relationships.

Theo has over 14 years of experience at Freddie Mac where he has been involved in developing end user systems to meet business objectives, fostering effective professional relationships and communicating with top Freddie Mac institutional customers concerning policies, performance expectations, and contractual terms of business, while helping maintain Freddie Mac market share. Theo is a B.Sc. graduate in Business Administration.

Janusha Mallawaarachchi (Technical Lead)

Janusha holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics (Physical Science). Well respected within ISD as a Search Engine Optimization visionary and an absolute go getter in keeping up with changes in algorithms of search engines. Prior to joining ISD, Janusha taught mathematics and now serves as the technical leader of the ISD SEO team.

Gayan Sangeeth (Software Engineer)

Sangeeth holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics (Physical Science) and undergraduate degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.

Prior to joining ISD, Sangeeth was a lecturer in IT. He is a competent IT professional who has mastered google applications including webmaster tools, analytics, adwords, checkout, and google codes. Being a mathematics graduate Sangeeth likes to analyze search engine algorithms, page ranking algorithms, and their updates.

Pubudu Mahesh (Software Engineer)

Pubudu is a webmaster with a proven track record and many years of experience in web development, web design, and Search Engine Optimization. A multi talented and highly skilled IT professional whose versatile technical knowledge and attention to detail have been tremendous assets to ISD over the years.

Andre Koch (Software Engineer)

Andre has experience in database software development, website design, development and search engine optimization. Database management tools he has developed has resulted in greatly simplifying web creation, and bringing necessary elements together in developing search engine friendly websites. A master in understanding detailed search engine requirements and connecting the puzzle to optimize search results.
